Join us for the first Lodge trip to the George Washington National Masonic Memorial and other areas of interest in the DC area. New England Lodge #4, Community Lodge #684, and University Lodge #631 all just became members of the Memorial in 2024!

The group will be leaving the Northwest Temple parking at 8:30AM on the morning of August 1^st and arriving in Alexandria by late afternoon/early evening. Dinner together that evening.

Saturday morning, August 2^nd – 9:00AM Tour of George Washington National Masonic Memorial.

11:00AM – Degree work in Alexandria-Washington Lodge #22 – George Washington’s home Lodge!

3:00PM – Visit to Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington.

Saturday evening – “Dinner on your own in Alexandria.”

Sunday, August 3^rd – Morning visiting the Washington DC National Mall Memorials.

Lunch and then drive home. Arrive back in Columbus by 9:00PM.

The trip cost for individual brethren will be $150 to be paid to the Lodge by June 30^th. This includes transportation, hotel, dinner Friday night, and entrance to Mt. Vernon.

You will be responsible for your lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on where you choose to dine, this could be an additional $20 to $100 out-of-pocket cost for you per meal.

We will be staying at the Residence Inn, 1456 Duke Street, Alexandria VA, 22314-3403. A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate and will be booked by the Lodge after everyone has signed up. Please don’t book rooms on your own!
